Join us for a weekend in the quiet countryside at Tyabb, on the Mornington Peninsula

In Sanskrit, Yoga means Union. Authentic Yoga is not simply some pleasant stretching, it is discovering balance and harmony within our lives, attaining Union with the Universal Consciousness. Authentic Yoga provides physical balance and well-being through Asana, the physical aspects of Yoga. It provides stillness and awareness of self through Dhyana, still minded meditation. It provides awareness of thought and spirituality through mindfulness and exploration of the self. In short, it can lead us to a happier, healthier, fulfilling and spiritual lifestyle.

This weekend retreat provides you with a weekend of immersion in Classical Yoga. The quiet, idyllic surrounds at the Eldon Park Retreat, Tyabb, provide the perfect backdrop for developing your yoga practice, and self, through authentic yoga. Ma Sally leads twice daily Asana practice, offering a selection of poses that are challenging, while at the same time reminding us to honour our bodies and choose our own level of difficulty. Swami Shantananda leads still-mind meditation, as well as sharing her wisdom and learning in authentic Shaivite Yoga, guiding us in discovering Union through self investigation and exploration of the Sages.

There is also some peaceful time for solitude or quiet companionship in mindfulness. Finally there is time to gather around the table and chat, enjoying the scrumptious vegetarian catering and a cuppa!

This is a residential weekend seminar beginning on Friday afternoon/evening 18th October, 2013 (arrive any time after 4pm, first session starts at 7pm), to Sunday 20th October (approx 3pm).
